The Vanish Class escape room experience (offered at Logix Escape Room, for example) features two thrilling variants set in the mysterious disappearance of an entire fifth-grade class in 2005 at Bennet Elementary School. In both versions, Miss Reynolds' class vanished without a trace on a stormy day, leaving behind a baffling cold case. The mystery is on the verge of being closed forever, but your team steps in with a time-travel portal to travel back to 2005 and uncover the truth. Time Travel Detectives: The Vanish Class This investigative mode casts your team as detectives. Your mission is to review evidence—such as videos, photos, documents, and clues—analyze what happened to the missing children, and determine the conclusion. It's puzzle-heavy, with locks, drawers, safes, boxes, and multiple challenges to solve as you piece together the events. Smarter Than a 5th Grader: Vanish Class This more immersive variant puts you in the shoes of the students. Your goal is to navigate and complete the fifth-grade schedule from that fateful day—including math lessons, science, social studies, a spelling bee, a multiplication speed drill, and more—while solving puzzles to potentially bring the children back (success isn't guaranteed!). It blends school-themed activities with escape room mechanics. Both rooms are packed with clever puzzles, hidden compartments, locked safes, drawers, boxes, and other interactive elements to keep your team engaged. Choose the mode that best suits your group: Go with Time Travel Detectives for a focused mystery-solving and evidence-review experience. Pick Smarter Than a 5th Grader for a fun, nostalgic challenge that recreates the school day with higher-stakes puzzles. Standard escape time is 1 hour and 15 minutes, but if you select the food option (party add-on), you get 2 full hours to enjoy the room at a more relaxed pace, savor the puzzles, and celebrate with your group.
