It is permissible to contact the client to obtain the necessary information for credit allocation in the following week. 4. Commission Bonus: As a Back Office Manager, you are eligible for a 20% bonus commission on any client bookings for Music iPortal or Portal Production entertainment services. This commission provides an opportunity for increased earning potential. Additionally, booking piano lessons for clients can earn you an additional $40 bonus per week. The goal is to consistently book clients and expand your client base to maximize your income. 5. Social Media Bonus: Managing and growing our social media platforms is an important aspect of your role. You can earn a monthly bonus of $75 based on the performance of our digital presence. This bonus is subject to review and may be adjusted based on the increase in followers and engagement on our platforms. Your active engagement and creative contributions to the growth of our social media presence are highly valued. 6. Office Hours and Flexibility: The standard office hours are set at 10 hours per week. However, as your bonus opportunities increase, there is potential for additional hourly opportunities. This flexibility allows you to work around your other commitments. It is essential that you meet the scheduled requirements once you are booked for work. Prior confirmation of availability is required, and once confirmed, it is critical to fulfill your commitment. 7. Attendance Policy: We have a three-strike policy for truancy. After the third strike, the hourly rate will be reduced to $13 per hour for 40 hours. If another strike occurs during probation, your employment will be terminated. For gig assignments, being more than 15 minutes late or calling out without prior notice will result in an automatic reduction in hourly pay for 40 hours. Such incidents are considered probationary and any further strikes during this period may lead to termination. 8. Mileage Tracking and Tax Credits: It is important to track your mileage for business-related travel. Monthly reporting is required for tax credit purposes. As an independent contractor (1099), all miles traveled to and from the office and gigs are tax-deductible. Additionally, if you need to purchase a phone or tablet to fulfill your job requirements, please keep all records and receipts for tax purposes, as these expenses are 100% tax-deductible. 9. Working from Home: If you are out of the office for more than three days, it is necessary to report via remote work for at least two hours to demonstrate productivity. 10. Bonus Plan: Emphasizing the importance of effectively working the bonus plan, it has the potential to provide a full-time job opportunity. By maximizing productivity in client management, social media engagement, and other revenue-generating areas, you can significantly increase your earning potential and contribute to the growth of the business.

The role of a Back Office Manager at Music iPortal goes beyond traditional office work. In addition to administrative tasks, the Back Office Manager is responsible for setting up and breaking down equipment at events, as well as operating basic audio equipment like microphones, speakers, and soundboards. The office portion of the job involves cleaning, organizing, and maintaining client records and books. At our Aberdeen headquarters, we have three main rooms: the music teaching room, the studio booth, and the podcast/computer room. Each of these areas plays a crucial role in our operations, and it is important to maintain cleanliness and organization to ensure a smooth workflow. Understanding the online portal is essential, especially with work-from-home opportunities. We have two websites: Musiciportal.com, which focuses on producing, teaching, and gospel ministry, and portalproductionsdmv.com, which is dedicated to entertainment photography and podcast productions. We also have a presence on social media with three main platforms: TikTok, Portal Productions on Instagram (@portal_live_productions), and Facebook. On Facebook, we have five pages, including Music iPortal and Portal Productions as the main accounts, as well as The Chosen Girls, Grace Elly Music, and The Gospel Portal under Portal Management. To provide further clarity: 1. Equipment: We handle DJ entertainment, church audio setups, podcasts, and concerts, all of which require a basic knowledge of audio communication. 2. File Management: All files are managed on our online portal, shared, and backed up to the hard drive. Equipment inventory is recorded in an online portal spreadsheet, accessible via the Wix app. We aim to minimize the use of paper and prefer scanning documents using the Apple phone notes app, filing them on the portal, except for sheet music. Loose papers can be discarded after scanning. Organizing client files and updating client notes are key tasks for efficient operations. 3. Online Platform and Client Management: Proficiency in operating the online platform and managing client information allows for remote work tasks. 4. Compensation: Tasks are organized into "Task Lots," with each lot representing 15 minutes. Payment is based on the number of lots assigned, with one hour being equivalent to two tasks carrying two lots each. Drive time to events and the office is not compensated but can be considered as unreimbursed expenses for tax purposes. Although office tasks may be completed before or after the designated "Lot time," payment is set according to the budgeted lot time. If goals are achieved early, the remaining time can be utilized for updating client books. However, if tasks fall behind, it is necessary to analyze potential reasons and address any issues. This is not an hourly position but rather a contracted role, with performance evaluations conducted quarterly. Networking and client acquisition contribute to the continuity of the contract, and completing tasks ensures payment between clients. 5. Social Media Management: Managing our social media pages involves focusing on gaining followers and posting content that resonates with our audience. Building followership is considered during performance reviews and influences the continuation of the contract with Music iPortal.
